The Ministry of Education intends to sign an agreement of cooperation with the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China on academic mobility scholarships between the two states. The accord provides that the sides will annually ensure the exchange of 20 scholars to study at universities, including persons studying for their doctorate and probationers, IPN reports.
The length of the university and doctoral studies will be set depending on the regulations of the receiving country, but the length of training courses will be eleven months, while of higher qualification courses – six months. Under the agreement, the receiving country will exempt the scholars from paying tuition fees and rent on teaching aids. The students will be accommodated in dorms.
In accordance with the current normative documents, the receiving country will ensure a monthly scholarship and health policy. The expenses for travelling from the country of origin to the place of studies will be covered by the scholars. These costs may yet be covered by the country that sends persons to studies.
The agreements will be valid for five years and will be extended automatically if there are no conditions for terminating it.
