Notre only the fool and the many will be satiated
The President of Romania Klaus Iohannis said his country will resume full cooperation with the Republic of Moldova when it ascertains that actions to continue the European course are taken at governmental level. “We are not at all sure that the current Government in Chisinau set this objective” said President Iohannis. In Chisinau, Igor Dodon announced the organization of a large-scale program on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II under his aegis, including of a common Victory March that will be followed by a festive concert and a grandiose fireworks display.
Per aspera, with so many in the lead
More than 67% population of the Republic of Moldova believes the country follows an incorrect path. According to the Association of Sociologists and Demographers of Moldova, the people are mostly dissatisfied with poverty, lack of money, high prices of products, unemployment and excessive migration. The poll shows that if presidential elections were held next Sunday, 44% of the respondents decided to vote would give their vote to the Party of Socialists, 21% to the Action and Solidarity Party, 10% to the Democratic Party and slightly over 6% to the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform”.

The first vice president of the National Unity Party Vlad Țurcanu said their party will not join the Union Political Movement as they do not think that the Liberal Party, which came up with this initiative, can be the driving force of the unionists in Moldova. Both the Liberal Party and Dorin Chirtoacă, when they were in power, did not much for the unionist movement and the unification of the unionist segment wasn’t a priority for them then.
Slanting on the line of the right
Maia Sandu said the goal of the PAS at the upcoming presidential elections is to run with a candidate who would win against Igor Dodon. Andrei Năstase said he took notice of the position of Maia Sandu, who opined that a variant is for her and the leader of the PPPDA to run in the upcoming presidential elections.
The opposition forces, especially those of the right, practically do not have chances of winning the presidential elections set for 2020, said experts invited to the talk show “Key issue” on NTV Moldova channel.
Who places/invents/wants obstacles?
After a number of media outlets in Chisinau earlier this week reported that the Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline will be ready to supply natural gas from Romania to Moldova only in 2021, the National Natural Gas Transmission Society “Transgaz” of Romania said the works to build the pipeline are performed according to plan.
