Head of state Igor Dodon along with the Speaker of the Parliament, Zinaida Greceanii, and the Prime Minister Ion Chicu have held a press conference. Meetings in such a format are to take place every Monday, when the most important initiatives to be launched will be announced. Over 625 thousand pensioners will receive a 700 lei social aid on the eve of winter holidays. Moreover, the aid for the cold season is expected to increase from 350 to 500 lei, etc.
Did the cart get stuck again ?
MPs of ACUM, DA Platform group request the setting up of a new commission of inquiry to continue the investigation of banking fraud. Alexandru Slusari reminded that tasks were set and requests were submitted to the Government, the NBM and the General Prosecutor's Office. Further, the decision of the Parliament approved a month ago provided for the examination of the opportunity to revise the law that imposes on citizens the payment of the "stolen billion". The ACUM, DA Platform group insists that this process be expedited.

Meantime the Republican Council of Socialists approved post-factum the Socialists’ leaving the alliance with ACUM and the fall of Sandu Government together with the “harassed” colleagues of the fugitive oligarch.

In an analytical article for the IPN News Agency, political researcher Dionis Cenușa warns that the European integration is a political objective assumed by Moldova, not by an individual political party. Therefore, the ACUM bloc’s departure from power should by no means be equated with the end of the European vector. Mutual speculation - between the power (PSRM and yet unofficial allies) and the opposition (ACUM bloc), will multiply. This, considers the political scientist, implies from the Europeans discernment and a nuanced approach.

The Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Republic of Moldova, Valeria Biagiotti, granted IPN News Agency a video interview ("Relations of the Republic of Moldova with development partners" cycle, supported by Hans Seiddel German Foundation), in which she spoke about Italy, the European Union, Moldovan-Italian relations, Moldovans in Italy, etc.

Angela Cutasevici, Inga Ionesi, Ilie Ceban and Victor Chironda are the nominations submitted by the general mayor, Ion Ceban, for the positions of deputy mayors of Chisinau municipality. General mayor plans to move the City Hall to new headquarters. The employees of the City Hall could move to a new open space office, while the building on Vlaicu Pârcălab street will be renovated and transformed, for example, into a museum.
