As many as 60 snowplows worked on the streets of Chisinau last night. In a communiqué, the Chisinau City Hall says there were spread 600 cubic meters of antiskid material, Info-Prim Neo reports. Ten snowplows will clean the snow from the streets on Wednesday, February 23. Cleanup works are also carried out inside the residential areas. Seventeen HACO vehicles and 20 tractors of the Public Amenities Division are cleaning the sidewalks. About 600 workers are removing the snow from streets. The City Hall calls on the drivers to be cautious on the road and park the vehicles only in authorized places so as not to hinder the snowplows and other specialized units of transport from cleaning the streets. The Chisinau administration requests the companies to clean the areas in front of their offices.
