During almost two months of the moment the inhabitants of the Transnistrian region can apply for neutral-design license plates that enable them to have access to international traffic, 584 vehicles and five motorcycles have been registered by the Public Services Agency at the offices opened in Rybnitsa and Tiraspol, IPN reports.

Oleg Rotaru, adviser to the director of the Public Services Agency, said that 117 applications were rejected for the reason that the units of transport didn’t meet the legal norms. The applicants for neutral-design license plates can file an application online. More than 4,000 applications have been registered so far.

Two local offices of the Public Services Agency work in the Transnistrian region. The office in Rybnitsa has three desks, while the office in Tiraspol has four desks. According to Oleg Rotaru, the number of desks is to be increased to five in Rybnitsa and to ten in Tiraspol.
