Approximately 600 policemen will maintain public order on the Day of Chisinau City celebrated on October 14. Mobile patrolling teams will supervise traffic on the streets and parks adjoining the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau, IPN reports.

According to the General Police Inspectorate, access to the center of Chisinau with firearms, explosives or dangerous substances will be banned. In order to avoid the formation of traffic jams, the people are urged to use public transport.

The economic entities that will trade in central Chisinau are warned not to sell alcoholic beverages and cigarettes to minors and to be careful when using stoves, barbecues and other inflammable accessories for preparing food.

In case of emergencies or illegalities, the people should call 902 or go to the closest police station or police post.
