Approximately 600 orphans from the municipality of Chisinau, who are under the tutelage of the Child Rights Protection Division, will enjoy surprises on the International Children’s Day that is marked on June 1, IPN reports.

The Division’s head Svetlana Chifa Monday said the festive activities dedicated to the International Children’s Day will start with a trip to the Zoological Garden in Chisinau on Friday, May 31, at 12 noon. There, the children will be served wit ice-cream and juices.

On June 1, the cultural activities will continue in the square of the National Opera House “Maria Biesu”, where a concert dedicated to children will start at 10.00. The same day, the children receiving treatment at the municipal children’s hospital “Valentin Ignatenco” will be presented a concert and different artistic activities. In a move to promote a healthy lifestyle, every child will be given by an apple.
