Approximately 56,000 income and personal interest statements for 2018 were submitted online to the National Integrity Authority by March 29, which is two days before the March 31 deadline, IPN reports.
According to the National Integrity Authority, about 11,000 statements were filed on March 29 alone. The total number of statements inserted in the e-Integrity system shows a large part of the taxpayers honored the obligation to make their property public.
The persons who do not know how to precisely fill out the statements can receive free consultations from employees of the Authority. On Saturday, information can be obtained on 022 820619, 022 820616, 022 820613, 022 820628 or 022 820620, while on Sunday on 022 820607, 022 820622, 022 820617, 022 820625 or 022 820620.
This is the second year that the income and personal interest statements are submitted in electronic format. Slightly over 58,000 such statements were introduced into the e-Integrity system by April 1 last year.
