According to the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport, most of the vacancies are for teachers of physics, mathematics and Romanian. There is also a shortage of teachers of English, chemistry, informatics, technological education and physical education. The teachers get an average salary of 2,000 lei. The kindergartens need 372 educators. An educator’s pay varies from 1,000 to 2,000 lei, depending on the length of service and the number of children in the groups.
