526 economical entities owe to the municipal budget about MDL 6.1 mln for rent. These debts were discovered following inspections initiated by the Finance General Division (FGD) at economic entities and public institutions in Chisinau. Interim Mayor Veaceslav Iordan said during the operative meeting held on Monday, March 12, that these is the first inspection campaign of this year, and these actions will be repeated, the second on the list being the Central Market. Tatiana Cunetchi, the head of the division, said that letters were sent to request the entities subjected to inspection to adjust their economic activity to the present legislation and to eliminate the drawbacks. In the first 2 months of this year 7 such inspections have taken place, from which 2 were aiming public institutions and 5 of them were aiming municipal enterprises. At present, there are 8 such verifications. There were also discovered some violations at the municipal enterprise “Teatrul unui actor”, where wages were unfoundedly paid to some employees. Similar contraventions were discovered at the theatre “Satiricus I. L. Caragiale”. At the municipal enterprise for management of the dwelling fund no.23 were also found some violations as well as the inappropriate statute of the enterprise. And also the statutory capital was not modified after some buildings were taken out from the enterprise back to the municipal Council of Chisinau. There was no record about property and liabilities of the enterprise as to confirm the veracity of financial reports.
