About 40 police officers from “Fulger” get by a Black Beret

More than 40 police officers of the Special Police Brigade “Fulger” staged a march on a distance of 15 km as part of which they overcame a series of obstacles in the water, on the ground and at height to test their resistance and professional abilities. The young people freed a passage over the bridge, destroyed the command unit of the enemy, arrested armed offenders and fought with each other. The most resistant ones who reached the finish line got by a Black Beret, IPN reports.

In the ceremony held to hand over Black Berets, “Fulger” Commander Vasile Ivas said the test of bravery has been held annually during ten years already. Of 44 participants, 36 obtained by a Black Beret. “I’m proud that today our colleagues showed resistance, physical and psychological strength at all the stages we covered,” he stated.

Veterans of “Fulger” also attended the event. Police lieutenant-colonel in reserve Arcadie Savciuc said that when he started work, they had another test of bravery – the Nistru war. The courage and audacity and the patriotic spirit are passed on from generation to generation. Those who form part of the Brigade are motivated, well-trained, courageous and cope with crisis situations when need be.

The event involved a group of journalists and communicators of a number of institutions of the Ministry of the Interior. The representatives of the media got diplomats from the Special Police Brigade “Fulger”.

The Black Beret is the distinctive sign and symbol of the special subdivisions. The goal of such exercises is to increase the training level of the new personnel, to cultivate the spirit of patriotism, devotion and professionalism among the young generation.
