Approximately 350-400 Ukrainian refugees daily go to the Patria Lukoil placement center for refugees in Chisinau to get food parcels, hot meals and logistic support. Aid is provided within possibilities, mayor general Ion Ceban stated in the ordinary meeting of municipal services, thanking all the national and foreign partners, companies, embassies and nongovernmental organizations that make donations in support of the refugees.

Currently, 828 refugee children are attending educational institutions in the municipality of Chisinau. Of them, 613 go to school, while 215 to kindergarten.

Last weekend, the World Food Program presented the online platform where households who are currently hosting at least two refugees from Ukraine for a minimum period of one week can receive the one-off payment of 3,500 lei within the Cash Assistance for Host Communities Program.

There are five offices in each district of the capital city where persons can register independently: Botanica District Head’s Office (10 Teilor St), Buiucani District Head’s Office (2 Mihai Viteazul St), Centru District Head’s Office (43 Bulgară St), Ciocana District Head’s Office (4/3 Mircea cel Bătrân St), the temporary placement center for refugees Patria-Lukoil (7/5 Studenților St). The offices started work on April 18.
