Chisinau Municipal Council allocated 602,100 lei for purchasing the season tickets for about 3,000 pupils and students. The head of Municipal Department for protecting children rights, Svetlana Chifa, says that it is about more than 1,000 children of families with four and more children, 395 orphans without parent care, including students and 1,590 learning in boarding schools-gymnasiums. They will come monthly to the Municipal department to get the tickets. Those 3,000 children benefit from gratuities in transport on the period February – May, September – December. The cost of a ticket for pupils purchased from the municipal transport enterprises is 22 lei with trolleybus and 35 lei with the bus. One for students costs 33 lei. Municipal counsellors give money for the third year of public budget to ensure these categories of children with season tickets.
