About 2,700 conscript soldiers will cast their votes
Approximately 2,700 conscript military men will participate in the July 29 elections. The administrations of the military units distributed permits to all the conscript soldiers and the students of the Military Institute of the Armed Forces, including to those that are outside the units, in hospitals, under arrest or on trips, so that they could vote, the Ministry of Defense says in a communiqué quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
During June-July, all the military men in units had the possibility of informing themselves about the platforms of the political parties. In all the units, there were held instructive-methodological meetings centering on the voting methods and the rights, freedoms and restrictions for the military.
The information about the vote of the military men will be collected at the Ministry of Defense and then sent to the Central Election Commission.
