About 200 companies to take part in “Made in Moldova” exhibit
Approximately 200 economic entities announced they will participate in the ninth “Made in Moldova” exhibition that will take place between January 27 and 30, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Elena Nicolaescu, exhibitions and fairs manager of the Chamber of Trade and Industry, which is one of the major organizers of the event, said the number of participating economic entities is not final as more applications are being accepted.
Companies operating in Straseni, Calarasi, Ungheni, Edinet, Anenii Noi, Hancesti, Leova, Cahul, Rascani, Ocnita and the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia will set up collective stands at the exhibit.
Delegations of businessmen from Romania, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Germany will also take part in the exhibition.
The program of the event includes a Moldovan-Lithuanian economic forum, the Trademark of the Year contest, a job fair, roundtable meetings and debates on the regulation of the entrepreneurial activity, state support to farmers, fiscal and customs policy for 2010, new possibilities of financing companies, and others.
Elena Nicolaescu said there will be published a catalog of the best national trademarks that will be forwarded to potential investors and foreign companies. The contest aims to promote the image of the national companies and products and increase their competitiveness.
