After piloting a new public transport schedule at the trolleybus stop located near the National Theater “Mihai Eminescu” for several weeks, the Chisinau Electric Transport Company decided to place such schedules in another about 20 stops in the capital city. The company’s head Gheorghe Morgoci has told IPN that for the new schedules to be put up, the 2014 municipal budget must be adopted in the final reading so that the necessary funds are disbursed.

Gheorghe Morgoci said that a new schedule, made from resistant material, costs about US$100. Such schedules exist in all the stops in the European Union. The new model is a rotating cylindrical construction containing the bus and trolleybus schedules.

According to Gheorghe Morgoci, residents of Chisinau wrote to the company, saying they like the new model of schedule and asking installing them in all the stops in the city.

There are 370 bus and trolleybus stops in Chisinau.
