About 180 companies of 16 countries of the world participate, starting on Wednesday, 22 February, in the 15-th international specialised exhibition of wine industry e EXPOVIN Moldova’ 2006, held in the International Exhibition centre Moldexdpo S.A. till 25 February 2006. The event is organised by Poliproject Exhibitions Ltd and Agro-industrial Comapny Moldova-Vin. According to organisers’ report, during these 4 days a range of events will be held – presentations of ale companies, master-class programs, visits to wine factories. The report also mentioned that this year the number of companies grape slips increased, companies specialised in equipment and materials in cultivating the grape have been created. The organisers said that within the wine materials sector has increased the number of companies presenting different means of processing the row material. Of the whole exhibition area, 45% is for wine companies, 32% is for foreign and native enterprises presenting equipment of processing the row material, 15% - enterprises presenting additional materials (corks, bottles, samples), 5% for those presenting grape slips, the organisers mentioned. The international specialised exhibition of wine industry was held for the first time in1992, in 2003 getting the title „EXPOVIN Moldova”. Previously the exhibition was called „VINMOLDOVA”.
