The repair works in 119 schools and kindergartens in Chisinau have not been yet completed. In Monday's meeting of the Chisinau City Hall, Tatiana Botnaru, adviser to the head of the Division of Education, Youth and Sport, said repair works this year have been carried out in 305 education institutions. All the works will be finished by the start of the new school year, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Tatiana Botnaru, the works to repair the roofs will be completed in October. Fifteen of 91 roofs have been already renovated. Cleanup works are carried out on the territories of the schools and kindergartens. The head of the General, Public Transport and Communications Division Veaceslav Terna said the streets near the education institutions are being marked. The access roads to the institutions that are located in remote areas might be also repaired. There are 144 schools and 133 kindergartens in the municipality of Chisinau at present.
