The Civil Aviation Authority(AAC) claims that it was informed about the fact that an aircraft of Air Moldova company with 140 passengers on board was close to an air collision with another small aircraft, in June, through the voluntary reporting system established on caa.md site. Then the Authority requested that MoldATSA examine the case and submit a report, IPN reports.

According to a AAC press release, later MoldATSA submitted the Investigation Report and the Corrective Action Plan. On August 23, a notification on this case was published in a social network.

Thus, the interim deputy director of the AAC, Vladimir Gorea, had a meeting with the author of the notification, Eugen Sajin, MoldatSA air traffic controller, who presented to the Authority an Independent Report made by several specialists from the branch, air traffic controllers and pilots.

The Civil Aviation Authority claims that it will examine the Independent Report in correlation with the Investigation Report, previously submitted by MoldATSA, and then comment on it. At the same time, during the inspections, the AAC will also check the implementation and observance of the Corrective Action Plan proposed by MoldATSA at the AAC request.
