A 31-year-old woman was left without driver's license after being spotted by patrol officers while driving through Chisinau, in a state of advanced alcohol intoxication and with two children in the car transported without a child car seat, IPN reports.

According to a press release of the National Patrol Inspectorate (INP) of the General Police Inspectorate, the car was stopped on Muncești highway in Botanica sector of the capital, last night, after law enforcement officers noticed that it was circulating irregularly. During discussions with the woman, the patrol officers sensed a strong odour of alcohol. Drager tester showed 0.90 mg / l alcohol in the exhaled air. The driver was ordered to step out of the car and the vehicle was taken to the special parking lot.

INP mentions that due to reckless drivers, this year 185 children were involved in road accidents, 158 suffered different injuries and six died.
