A woman from Ghidighici has saved her relatives from a stove gas intoxication

A woman from Ghidighici has saved her children, grandchildren and the mother of her son in law from death by stove gas intoxication. According to the coordinating doctor of the Chisinau Emergency Service, Ludmila Untura, one of the grandmothers came in the morning to the house of a citizen living in Ghidighici, and found all the family members – the parents, two children and another grandmother, in an almost unconscious state, intoxicated with the stove gas. The woman has taken them all out to the fresh air, after which she called the Emergency Service. The whole family was hospitalised to be detoxified. A young man aged 20, living on Montana str. suffered gas intoxication as a result of a malfunctioning gas cylinder. The young man was hospitalised at the „Sfanta Treime” hospital. A minor aged 16 tried to suicide with medicaments, and was further sent to the Centre of Mother and Child. Monday, Chisinau Emergency Service doctors have registered 183 acute virosis cases, 94 of which in children, and 22 flu cases – 2 of which in adults and 20 in children.
