The yesterday’s explosion in Tiraspol was set up by a kamikaze. This is the version considered by the Transnistrian press, saying that these are the preliminary data of the investigation. According to it, on the minibus route no.21, a young man entered with huge rucksack, which drew the attention of the survived driver. The terrorist activated the bomb shortly after he entered the vehicle. The searchings performed at the home of the suspect found a bomb similar to that involved in the transport unit. At the same time, the victims of the explosion were identified. Of 7 dead persons, 5 are women – Elena Shabuneaev, Victoria Russu, Lidia Erix, Elena Litvinenco, and Lidia Zingan. The men are Nicolai Fastovet and Alexandr Beleaev. 6 persons are hospitalized in the intensive therapy section of Tiraspol, other 12 – in the traumatology, in the otolaryngology – 3 and 2 in the ophthalmology section. A man is hospitalized at the military hospital. The local authorities of Tiraspol created a commission for organizing the funerals of the victims of the explosion and for providing assistance, about 2,500 dollars, to the families of the victims. 8 July is announced as mourning day by the authorities of Tiraspol.
