A drunk driver had an accident last night, stopping his car into an electric pillar. The inspector of the Road Security, Administrative Supervisions and Public Relations Service of Road Police of Chisinau, Ion Roscovanu, said that the accident happened at 2:40a.m., at the crossing of the streets Vasile Lupu with Piata Constitutiei of the capital. Driving a Volkswagen Vectra, a young man aged 29 lost the control of the car and stopped into an electric pillar. Even the impact was serious; the drivers suffered an injury of the front and mental shock. A chain accident took place at 14:30 on the street Miron Costin. A car Honda Acord hit a maxi-taxi Ford Tranzit with numbers of Drochia, the latter one being thrown over a parked car Audi. The driver of the maxi-taxi suffered an injury of the occipital zone. Two passengers of the maxi-taxi nr.129, hit by a Mercedes-180 with number of Ungheni, suffered different traumas. On Tuesday the road inspectors registered 184 violations of the Road Regulation. 14 drivers were found drunk, 48 drivers ignored the lights of the semaphore, 24 were driving cars in inappropriate condition, and 8 caused accident situations.
