A pit bull terrier mutilated two children and three grown-ups of the capital. According to doctor-coordinator of the Emergency Service of the capital, Eufalia Negreata, the tragedy produced on Sunday, in the house nr. 23 on Ialoveni street. A boy aged 5, paying a visit together with his mother, was aggressed by the pit bull terrier of the owners. Than a nightmare followed: the woman wanted to help the child, but the dog aggressed her as well, than it rushed to the owner and her child aged 12. Even the neighbor who tried to help the victims was bitten. According to her, 3 ambulance teams were necessary to help the victims. The doctors noted that the most serious situation was of the boy aged au 5, who had deep injures of the head, face, hands and legs. Child’s mother, aged 27, was hospitalized with numerous injures of the face, had and hip. The second boy had injures of the right arm, the dog’s owner, aged 31, - numerous injures of shanks, and the man aged 56 – deep injury of the arm. The children were hospitalized at „Valentin Ignatenco” Hospital, and the grown-ups – at the Emergency Hospital. Dog breeders say pit bull terriers do not show in general aggression towards humans, but towards other dogs, and their temper depends on the way they are socialized by their owners.
