With the intention to leave this life in a spectacular way, a man combusted himself in a hay cock, in the yard of some people living in the same village. According to the chair of the Press-Center of Exceptional Situation Department, Alexandru Oprea, the case took place on Thursday morning in Prepelita village, Singerei raion. The man, 43, was a guard at the local school. He quarreled with the administration of the institution, aggressed the head of studies and then stabbed him in the chest. After that he aspersed himself with petrol and put himself on fire. As a live torch he entered into a hay cock from the yard of his neighbors. The firemen who came immediately succeeded in taking the man out of the stake and localize the fire. In the afternoon the man died in the Singerei raion hospital because of serious burns he supported on a surface of 80% of the body. Since the beginning of the year in R. of Moldova 1847 fires were registered in which 174 persons lost their lives, including 11 children.
