The salaries of a part of budget-funded employees will rise by 15% to 40% from September 1, while fof another part from October 1. More than 170,000 budget-funded employees will benefit from pay raises overall, IPN reports.
The pay increases are envisioned by the package of laws for which the Government assumed political responsibility.
According to the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, the monthly salary of a teacher with senior teaching degree will be about 5,600 lei, up by 1,100 lei, for the first teaching degree will be 5,300 lei, up 1,140 lei, while for the second teaching degree and of educators with higher education will be about 4,800 lei, up 1,300 lei.
From September 1, the salary bonus for the scientific degree of doctor habilitate will rise from 700 lei to 1,100 lei, while for the scientific degree of doctor – from 300 to 600 lei. The medical personnel of pre-university education institutions will receive a bonus for work intensity of 30%. The bonus for length of service of assistants of educators in nurseries and kindergartens will be 10% to 30% of the salary. The personnel with complex duties from the education sector (except for teachers), culture, sport, health, social assistance and arts will receive a bonus for work intensity of 20%.
From October 1, the tariff salary for the first pay category will be 1,000 lei, up 100 lei. Thus, the basic salaries of all the pay categories from the common tariff network will rise. More that 100,000 employees from all the areas of the social sphere (health, culture, arts, sport, social assistance and educating, except for teachers, science, etc.) and the about 20,000 employees with special status from the national defense, state security and public order bodies will benefit from pay raises of at least 15%.
The 11 bills for which the Government assumed responsibility on July 22 will no longer go trough Parliament. They will be considered adopted if no censure motion is put forward within 72 hours. In this case, the Head of Parliament will sign them and will submit them to the head of state for promulgation.
