Class Master of the Year in Chisinau municipality nominated

Tamara Martinici, a teacher of the Theoretical Lyceum “Gheorghe Ghimpu” of Colonița village of Chisinau municipality , was named the Class Master of the 2018-2019 school year in the municipality. The results of the eleventh contest “Class master, dear parent” were presented in a gala on May 21, IPN reports.

Tamara Martinici said the class master is a real manager and a leader of the class. “I have endeavored by what I do to raise valuable people, to do beautiful things and to teach my pupils to create nice things,” stated the teacher.

Valentina Hâncu, of the Theoretical Lyceum of Grătiești, was nominated the Most Creative Class Master in the municipality of Chisinau. The award for the best presentation of the homework at the contest went to Daniela Defter, of the Theoretical Lyceum “Princess Natalia Dadiani”. “Modern society is changeable and I like changes. The children are those engines that make me change and rise to their level,” stated the teacher.

Nicolae Gushtyuk, a member of the jury, noted each class master was original and each of them showed their activity is not only a post, but is also their vocation.

The contest involved 20 teachers from 20 education institutions. Eight of them received money awards.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has appointed Rustem Umerov as the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service. The appointment decree was signed by the leader in Kiev, reports IPN.

Until this appointment, Rustem Umerov held the position of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. In his place, the former Minister of Interior, Igor Klimenko, has been appointed as the head of the Council.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Rustem Umerov will continue to coordinate the “Drone Deal” initiative. According to the Ukrainian president, the new role will allow him to continue managing cooperation in the field of defense and diplomacy, negotiations with the United States and other partners, as well as the negotiation process regarding the end of the war triggered by Russia against Ukraine.

Rustem Umerov was a deputy, head of the State Property Fund, Minister of Defense, and later Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. In recent years, he has coordinated international negotiations on military support for Ukraine and led the Ukrainian delegation in talks with the United States and Russia on ending the war.
