June 1: The Chisinau City Hall and the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center have launched the second edition of the Open Air Film Festival. The event starts on June 1 and will run throughout the summer, every Friday and weekend, in three districts of Chisinau.
June 3: The first stage of enrollment in the first grade has ended. From April 1 to May 24, over 9,000 applications were submitted through the platform escoala.chisinau.md. The results are communicated until June 3 inclusive. In the 387 classes of primary and secondary education institutions of the capital city, it is planned to enroll 10,400 children. According to a press release of the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center, the initiative comes to provide young people with a friendly and stimulating environment in which they can spend their free time in a constructive and pleasant way.
June 4: The second edition of the Chisinau Sports Festival will take place on June 8 in “La Izvor” Park of the capital city. After a program of sports activities, the festival will culminate with a concert by the band “Zdob si Zdub”. “The band that conquered the hearts of thousands of fans around the world will take the stage to turn this festival into an unforgettable show,” said the Chisinau City Hall and the General Division of Education, Youth and Sports, which are the organizers of the event.
