The Government will allocate 9 million lei from its Reserve Fund to buy more anti-hail rockets. The service in charge may cover an area of 1.4 million ha this year, Info-Prim Neo reports. 24 districts are included in the protection zone. Moldova employs 108 rocket launchers. According to the Agriculture Ministry, 820 hail clouds have been rocketed this year, as the plantations thus rescued are believed to be assessed at 300 - 400 million lei. 5,278 rockets have been launched this summer,twice more than the annual average. Those 9 million lei will be used to buy 2,000 anti-hail rockets.
