As many as 89 papers were annulled at the Baccalaureate exam of one’s choice on June 18 after the students were caught copying. According to the director of the Quality Ensuring Agency Anatol Topala, the cases of cheating were fixed by the supervision cameras installed in the examination halls. This was the last Baccalaureate exam for a large part of high school students. The results will be posted in the Baccalaureate centers on June 27-28, IPN reports.
“For the first time, the students will be able to see their graded papers scanned on the Internet, on the website bac.edu.md. For this, they will need an access code. In this period, at the students’ request, the high schools will provide computers connected to the Internet so that the candidates are able to see their scanned papers,” stated Anatol Topala.
The exam of one’s choice was taken by over 28,000 students. The next exam, in the mother tongue – Ukrainian, Bulgarian, and Gagauz – will be sat on June 21.About 600 papers have been annulled so far.
