Termoelectrica is rehabilitating about 900 meters of primary heating pipes, DN 800 mm, on Meșterul Manole street. According to a press release issued by the company, this will improve the quality of the heating services received by about 75,000 consumers in the districts of Ciocana and Râșcani and will reduce heat loss in the system.

Over the course of the first two stages, about 500 meters of heat pipes were replaced, while another 400 meters will be installed during the third stage. In order to continuously provide hot water, almost 80 residential blocks in the region have been temporarily connected to a different subsystem.

Termoelectrica CEOVeaceslav Eni said that investments in the modernization of the distribution system are a priority for Termoelectrica. Capital repair works will be carried out on about 13 km of heat pipelines over the course of the year. The efficiency of the system and the quality of services provided will be substantially improved.

The modernization works are part of Termoelectrica's investment plan for 2021, approved by the watchdog agency ANRE, and will be completed by early September.
