The body of a man aged 75 from Ciuciuleni village of Hancesti district was found in a local 10-meter deep well. The police were alerted by villagers, IPN reports.

Press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Diana Turcan said that rescuers were called to help recover the body. The police do not rule out that it was suicide.

On April 26, a 64-year-old woman from Volovita village of Soroca district fell into a 16-meter deep well. She was taken out by rescuers and was then hospitalized with hypothermia. According to the police, the woman, who suffers from cancer, tried to commit suicide.
