As many as 70 students, some of whom from socially deprived families from Straseni district, visited the Chisinau International Airport SRL “Avia Invest”. The airport’s administration organized an excursion for them on the occasion of the International Children’s Day that is celebrated on June 1, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué of SRL “Avia Invest”.

The students said they didn’t have the occasion for seeing planes so closely until now. Most of them never flied. The children were allowed to go aboard a plane where they were served candies and offered souvenirs. They also visited the airport’s firefighting unit.

The organization of such excursions for children became already a tradition for the company. This year the number of invited children rose from 50 to 70.
