A 7-year-old girl was fatally hit by a car on Friday, October 12, on the Chisinau-Ungheni highway. According to primary investigations, the girl was trying to jay-walk when the accident occurred, reports Info-Prim Neo. Traffic Police Division Press Officer Antonina Talpa communicated that the 51-year-old driver had valid documents, and did not consume alcohol. The police is to determine whether impact was avoidable or not. The child died on the spot, before the ambulance arrived. On Friday, including the night from Friday till Saturday, 14 car accidents took place. In result, 16 people ended up with various wounds.
