As many as 126 education institutions of Chisinau and of suburban localities benefitted from a donation of 678 computers provided by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, UNICEF Moldova and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, IPN reports.

According to the Chisinau City Hall, the computers were distributed depending on the number of students and teachers and the equipment level of institutions. As part of the donation, the education institutions will also get 300 thermometers.

The value of the donations is of 4.17 million lei.

In the course of this year, the General Education, Youth and Sport Division of Chisinau bought 1,052 computers for the needs of education institutions.
