According to the poll, 84% of the Moldovan voters consider that the parliamentary elections are important and very important, but only 2.7% of those questioned are ready to go to the polls in any circumstances.
“Most of those that will vote under any circumstances are supporters of the Communist Party of Moldova and the Liberal Party,” said the Association’s president Victor Mocanu.
19% of the respondents said that their participation in elections depends on the quality of the elections, 19.9% - on the performance of the election runners, 11% - on the quality of life, 12.2% - on the health condition. 4.3% of those questioned would vote only if compelled, while 2.7% said it would depend on the weather. 2% of those polled would go to the polls only if paid.
