58 bills included in national plan for harmonizing legislation

The Government approved the national plan for harmonizing the legislation for next year. In 2014, there will be formulated and approved 58 bills, including 16 laws, 31 decisions and 11 departmental documents. 43 of the bills are new acts, while 15 include amendments to the legislation, IPN reports.

Under the plan, the documentation will be gradually adjusted to the EU policies in 12 areas. There will be drafted and approved new laws on financial grantee contracts, strategic environment assessment, biological security, liability of airlines and service packages for travelers.

Amendments will be proposed to the laws on pharmaceutical activity, aeronautic security, prevention of cyber crime and other pieces of legislation. The implementation of the plan will be coordinated by the Center for Legislation Harmonization of the Ministry of Justice.
