553m lei planned in 2012 budget for raising salaries
A sum of 553 million lei was earmarked in the 2012 state budget for increasing salaries. 365 million lei of this sum will go on pay raises in budget-funded institutions, while 188 million lei – in institutions financed from the budgets of the local public authorities, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The basic salary for military men, troops and command bodies in 2012 will be raised by using the coefficient 1.25%. A sum of 154 million lei was allocated for the purpose.
The annual prizes for results achieved in 2011, which are awarded in January, will be equal to the main salary set according to the common pay grade system. 112 million lei will be used in this respect.
Another 100 million lei will go to increase the basic salaries from 700 to 800 lei in June and to set the basic salaries of the employees paid according to the common pay grade system. A sum of 131 million lei will go to increase the salaries of public servants from July.
The draft budget law was approved by the Government and is to be adopted by Parliament.
