A man aged 55 from Soldanesti died when his car collided head-on with another vehicle. Commissioner of Soldanesti Anatolie Lisnic has told Info-Prim Neo that the Balti-Rabnita road where the accident happened is absolutely clean. “The roads are clean as in summer. Even the lateral sides were cleaned from snow. It is not clear how the accident occurred,” said Anatolie Lisnic. The man who died is from Soldanesti town, while the second driver is from Cotiujenii-Mari. The 48-year-old man was admitted to the Soldanesti District Hospital with injury to the abdominal organs and the left knee. The case is investigated by the Soldanesti Police Commissariat. It is not yet known if the drivers were under the influence of alcohol. The six accidents that happened on the national roads during the last 24 hours resulted in one death and six persons injured. The traffic police identified 711 offenses, including driving under the influence, speeding and not fastening of the seatbelt.
