522 students from Moldova received scholarships from the Romanian Government
522 students from Moldova, graduates of the 9th grade, and in conformity with the Romanian system, graduates of the 8th grade in Romania, became on September 17, scholarship students to Romania’s education institutions, as stipulated by an order of the Ministry of Education, Research and Youth in Romania. The list of successful students can be found on the websites www.admiterea.md and www.edu.ro.
The successful students will benefit from a monthly scholarship and free accommodation in halls. Medical assistance will be given based on the same premises as those existing for Romanian students. State institutions students, on a daily programme, will benefit from a discount of 50% on local public transport as well as internal auto, air and naval transport throughout the whole year.
A different order of the same ministry stated that 399 citizens of Moldova, graduates of Romania’s high-schools were accepted by universities.
The Embassy of Romania in Moldova announced in a press release that it will facilitate the visa applications for all successful students. Romania’s Consulate will accept applications on September 20-21, in groups, starting at 1.00pm, and based on the distribution criteria made public on the site of the Ministry of Education, Research and Youth of Romania.
