In a referendum on the entry into the Eurasian Union, 41% of the citizens would vote for, 52% would vote against, while 7% didn’t know what to answer, shows an opinion poll carried out by the Center for Sociological Research of Moldova during March 10-27, IPN reports.

In a news conference on April 4, the Center’s director Sergiu Raetski said none of the two courses is dominant in society. With small differences, the options of the Moldovans are almost equal.

According to Sergiu Raetski, a new course for Moldova has taken shape recently – the union with Romania. In a referendum on the union, 35% of the citizens would vote for, 48% would vote against, while 17% are not decided. Sergiu Raetski said the number of those who plead for the union rises annually by several percentage points.
