Romania will send one more consignment of 50,400 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to the Republic of Moldova of the 200,000 promised. The batch is to be delivered to Chisinau this weekend, the Prime Minister of Romania Florin Cîțu stated after the Government’s meeting, IPN reports.
“This weekend we will ship another 50,400 doses of vaccine to the Republic of Moldova. You know that we committed ourselves to providing 200,000 doses. We will send another 50,400 doses this weekend. So, things go on,” said the Romanian Premier.
The first 21,600 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19 donated by Romania were delivered to Chisinau at end-February.
