500m lei needed to build houses for Hancesti flood victims
The 700 houses for flood victims from Hancesti district will be constructed at a cost of about 500 million lei, Deputy Minister of Construction and Regional Development Anatolii Zolotkov, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
“An estimated 500 million lei will be needed to build houses and the necessary infrastructure for flood victims,” Anatolii Zolotkov told a news conference.
On Monday, August 16, a working group composed of representatives of the Ministry of Construction and Regional Development, the local authorities, construction employers and of the Ministry of Finance will announce the winners of the tender contest for building homes in the flood-hit areas. According to Zolotkov, 49 construction companies tendered to erect houses with two and three rooms.
“A number of criteria will be taken into account when selecting the companies, including the offered price, the capacity, the workers' qualifications, the necessary equipment,” Zolotkov said.
He also said that the selected companies will build 560 houses with two and three rooms. A new tender contest will be announced later to chose companies that will construct four- and five-room houses.
“The contracts with the winners of the contest will be signed on Friday, August 20, so that the construction works could start on Saturday,” the deputy minister said.
700 houses for flood victims will be erected in Nemteni, Cotul Morii, and Sarateni villages of Hancesti district. 115 houses will be built in Nemteni on a plot allotted by the mayor's office, while Cotul Morii and Sarateni will be moved to an area situated not far from Leuseni village.
