The State Road Administration dispatched its intervention crews on national roads in the north and center of the country, IPN reports.

Patrol and snow removal works are carried out in the districts of Bălți, Fălești, Sângerei, Briceni, Dondușeni, Ocnița, Drochia, Glodeni, Edineț, Rîșcani, Soroca, Șoldănești, Călărași, Strășeni, Ungheni.

The company reported the detachment of 49 special vehicles and 48 workers, who spread 7.6 tonnes of anti-slip material and 224.2 tonnes of technical salt.

The crews remain active at the scene to monitor the situation and intervene promptly where necessary so as to ensure favorable conditions for road traffic.

The State Road Administration recommends drivers to use winter tires and avoid traveling if they have not prepared their vehicles appropriately for winter conditions.
