5 people, 2 minors drown
7 people, including 2 minors have drowned the last three days.
The press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, Tatiana Corceac, has told Info-Prim Neo that out of a large number of stupid tragedies, the most serious is the case of a 5-year-old girl. The child was resting at summer camp near Balti town. No other circumstances are known except for the fact that the girl was found drowned in the camp's pool on Friday.
The same day, near the village of Climauti, Donduseni district, a 31-year-old man got drowned. In the lake near Ceadar-Lunga town – a 68-year-old man got drowned, and in the lake near the village of Paladea, Ocnita, -- a 43-year-old man drowned.
On Saturday, in the Prut river near Pascani village, Cahul district, a 13-year-old minor was found drowned. He was identified as an inhabitant of Pascani village.
A drunk man aged 33 got in the lake near Maximovca village, Aneni-Noi, and never returned, being swallowed by the water.
The corpse of an unidentified man, aged some 60 years, was found in the lake at the Eastern Gates of Chisinau. He did not have any signs of violent death, neither signs of getting drowned, as the probe is to establish the causes.
