47-year-old killed in road accident

A man aged 47 died last night after he was struck by a car in Edinet town. The driver left the place of the accident, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Traffic Police Division. The police already possess information about the driver's identity.
Two women were hit by minibuses in Chisinau. A minibus running on route struck a 50-year-old woman and then went into on iron fence on Decebal Blvd. The woman suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma, a concussion and a fracture of the right arm. A minibus passenger aged 58 also suffered injuries.
The second minibus traveling on the same route hit an 82-year-old woman on Ion Creanga St. The woman was admitted to the Emergency Hospital with a cranial-cerebral trauma and two broken ribs.
The same day, a boy aged 9 was struck by a BMV on Ginta Latina St. He sustained injuries and got a tooth broken.
One person was killed and 10 injured in nine accidents that occurred on the national roads on Thursday, July 1.
