The civil status services of the Public Services Agency received 47 applications to register the marriage on St. Valentine’s Day that is celebrated on February 14, IPN reports.

The Agency said that 18,150 marriages were registered in 2022, as opposed to 20,245 marriages in 2021. Most of those who get married are aged between 20 and 25. Out of all the marriages registered in 2022, 7,236 women and 2,894 men got married at such an age.

The youngest brides and grooms were aged 16-17 (women – 240, men – 3), while the oldest of those who got married were two women aged 81 and a man aged 89.
