The Medicines and Medical Devices Agency this February has issued and extended 448 authorizations for the import of pharmaceutical products, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the Agency. The authorizations are valid for a one-year period or by the time limits indicated in the documentation. There were also authorized 50 medical devices.

Last month, the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency registered the producer prices for 433 drugs. Converted into national currency, the prices are by 3.5% on average lower than those registered last February.

The Medicines Commission has authorized 81 pharmaceutical preparations, most of which are made in the EU. Of the total number, 33 medicines were authorized for the first time, while 48 were reauthorized.
