About 400 workers daily perform manual cleanup works in the municipality of Chisinau, the head of the General Housing and Amenities Division Ion Burdiumov announced in the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services, IPN reports.
According to him, mechanized sanitation works are also carried out, with 24 units being involved in the process.
About 30 means of transport were involved in loading and conveying the waste. "A total of 210 waste trucks were collected last week,” said Ion Burdiumov.
Also, as a result of the rainfall and snowfall at the end of last week, 51 units of equipment were involved in the work process.
"Anti-skid material was scattered on all the portions where it was necessary so that on Saturday, at around 10 a.m., all the sidewalks and public spaces that we manage were practicable," stated Ion Burdiumov.
