40% of asked for licenses are processed and issued electronically

40% of the economic entities that applied for new licenses or asked for the extension of the old ones in 2013 did it trough the e-Licensing service. Director of the Licensing Chamber Valentin Guznac anticipated that the figure will rise to 50% in 2014.

“The procedure is very simple. The people no longer need to waste time at the Licensing Chamber, while the license tax can be paid at any bank,” said Valentin Guznac. Most of the applicants asked for licenses for the construction and pharmaceutical sectors.

The objective is to achieve a figure of 60% of electronically processed applications for licenses. The e-Licensing service was launched in November 2012.
